What is a DNA test?
A DNA test is a genetic test that can be established by testing 2 individuals DNA collected and compared against each other. We will determine whether or not their genetic makeup is the same. Most people will use DNA testing for parentage tests. We collect DNA from our clients via mouth swabs, and nonstandard items they send us.
How accurate is the DNA testing?

Which DNA test do I choose?

What if the father and mother refuse to participate in the DNA test?
If the potential father or mother refuses to take the test then, a close relative can be substituted.
What if we live in different parts of the world or country?
DNA Confidential can assist you in sending our DNA testing kits to anywhere you need them to go to different cities and locations.
Is there any preparation required before the test?
Yes, please do not eat, drink, chew gum or smoke, 30 minutes prior to the test (nothing by mouth).
What samples other than a mouth swab can be used for a DNA test?
Non standard Sample Items include: Blood, fingernail clippings, chewing gum, earwax, semen, kleenex, cigarette butts, condoms, coffee cups, underwear, etc.
How long will it take to receive my results?
Results will be received typically within 10 business days. Results will be received by the selected method you would prefer.
Do you offer refunds?
No. A DNA test kit is a non refundable service. Once the payment if made and test kit has been sent out, and or the appointment has been booked there are no Refunds available to you after you have submitted the payment . After this point, no refunds will be offered. You have 30 days to complete testing.
Are the Results confidential?
Yes, all the circumstances around any of our tests, including the results obtained and all communication are strictly confidential.
Is it possible for a person to alter his/her DNA or to tamper/falsify results?
No, lifestyle, age, use of drugs or alcohol, cannot alter your DNA (please notify us if you have had a bone marrow transplants or stem cell transplant)
